    Default Celtic Woman

Although not yet confirmed, looks like Celtic Woman will be in Bangor on July 28. Their site states that tickets will go on sale June 5 (Saturday). We'll be first in line! LOL!

(And a note to our Canadian members: Celtc woman has dates set in Halifax, NS, and Moncton and Saint John NB!)

    Default WooHoo!

Celtic Woman WILL be in Bangor on July 28. Tickets are $61.50 and $51.50. A good price for a performance by these talented ladies!

    See you there?

Default What kind of music is this?

What do they play...." Here comes another banner in the Garden" or "Kobe doesn't like Boston girls" or that all time favorite " Larry can't jump but he can score more then Magic!"

These gals must be great to command a ticket price like that!

Sheesh! $61.50/$51.50 is a high price. But just think, you could pay:

    $124 to see Daughtry.

    $966 to see Elton John.

    $1,339 to see Lady Gaga.

    $1,983 to see American Idol.

Or, if you're really loaded, you could pay:

$18,798 for a ticket to today's Boston Celtics/LA Lakers game, and hear DJ Dan McCarthy .

Dubord PM'd me that he'd watched the "Celtic Woman" special on PBS, and that I might see him at the concert in Bangor next month. I just wanted to "out" him...

We paid less than $30 to see the Three Redneck Tenors in Rutland Vermont's Paramount Theater. Well worth the price, these guys are amazing - hilarious and great singers.
