Default Geocaching icon for your desktop

I have a folder on my desktop for PQs and assorted geocaching stuff. Today I got tired of looking at the same old vanilla folder icon so I made an ammo can icon. It even has the geocaching logo on the side of it.

I have Windows XP so here is how you install it for that. I don't know how hard it is to do with Visa or Windows 7 but I imagine it is about the same.

    If you want it.......

Copy the image into a folder.

Open that image with Paint. (It should be under Start, All Programs, Accessories.

Make sure it is 32 x 32 pixels and 96 resolution.

Save it as GeoIcon.ico into your C:Windows folder.

Right click on the icon you want to replace(plain yellow vanilla folder)

    Click Properties.

In the Properties box that comes up click Change Icon.

Browse to the C:windows folder and click on the GeoIcon.ico that you just put there.

Click Apply and you should now have an ammo can for an icon instead of a vanilla folder.
