I forgot one. GC1770E Halfway between the Equator and the North Pole?
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.

You can't make a respectable trip to Maine without stopping at the What in the World Cache? (GC6D43) by Ghosthunter (2/1) while passing through Yarmouth!

Regarding Ekidokai's mention of my You Sank My Battleship! (GCB688) by brdad (4/2), people seem to enjoy it but if you're coming up for numbers you may want to skip it, expect it to take 3.5 - 5 hours alone. The other multis mentioned should take a little less time.

Maybe we can get some Bangor locals to meet up at a restaurant and say hello during your visit!

Sheesh! Great suggestion! Since it's right on I95, it's a quick stop. And RULost2? advises that they have nice bathrooms, too.

Wow! I have quite a list gathered! Although I do want to get some numbers the first day or so, I do want to spend some time on a few hikes too. My favorite thing is to be out in nature. Oh, any wild animals or bugs I need to be aware of?
When in doubt... run like hell!!

As for wild animals, there are venomous gaboon vipers down Saco way, but we just had a run of cold weather so it might have done in any remaining ones.

I thought 295 went by Yarmouth, not I95?

For numbers and nature ,there are many caches in the Bangor City Forest, and on the edge of that forest is a great boardwalk out into a peat bog, I think it is about a 1 mile loop. The web page for the boardwalk is http://www.oronobogwalk.org/

These are the caches in the city forest, give or take....

I have a few nature caches 20 miles east of Bangor but you might have trouble getting a car near them. But in that same area is Little and Big Peaked mountains (Often referred to as the "Chick Hill area"). There are great views there, though I am a bit partial because I grew up at the foot of the mountain.

It is a one mile hike from parking to the top of Big peaked.

Little Peaked Cave (GC1H3WW) by Zoltarus (3/3.5)
Feeling a "Little Peaked" (GC1597K) by parmachenee (2/3)
Cash Cache (GCJRHJ) by parmachenee (2.5/3)
Memories of Aefuss #4 No "Peak"ing!! (GC1BRC1) by WACO Wranglers (3/3)

This is very close to Chick Hill, short climb to a nice view overlooking a small pond...
