I don't think there are any ticks north of - Skowhegan, lets say. I've never seen any, but that doesn't mean they're not on the way.

And LT was right - bug spray only acts as a lure for black flies! LOL!

According to Dept of Health, every county has reported ticks. Far, far worse in Southern Maine.
Everyone has the right to be an idiot at times. Just don't abuse the privilege.

Probably someone from Portland carried a tick to Somerset County and reported that he got it here! LOL!

I have seen tics in Washington county when I was out there last weekend.
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.

Yes - but those "tics" are obviously Canadian. They spell things differently there.

LOL! Canadian 'tics' bite just the same as the good ol' US ones I'm sure!

The only cache we did where the road might have been iffy for a regular car was Pack a Derm. The rest are fine.

Watch the horizon today, chance of nasty thunderstorms this afternoon.
Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason.

Saw Dubord's comment, and agree. But if you take it slow, there's no place a regular car can't go - potholes and rocky roads are the worst problem.
