Red face Men's Maintenance health fair

I work at Inland Hospital in Waterville and we hold an annual Men's Maintenance health fair. This year the hospital along with Kennebec & Messalonskee Trails has placed a new trail behind the hospital. I am going to place a geocache there next week. They have asked me to provide some information about geocaching. My plan is to make up a poster and print up some information and answer any questions that might be presented about the sport. The KMT people will be escorting people out to the trail and helping them find the cache or caches. If anyone from the geocaching community would like to join me or have suggestions on this presentation it would be welcomed.
The event is July 21 st from 4-7 pm.

    Default Hope this helps

I presented geocaching at this event last year and had a great time! This year I'll be in Disney so I can't help. I hid a few caches just around the parking lot and loaded the coords into my gps so people could try and find them. I had 10 or 12 people grab a gps, I gave them a quick lesson and they were off. I also tried to sell people on the Messalonskee/Kennebec trails and give them directions. Overall it was a real pleasant experience. I think the key is to try and get people to find something to introduce them to our sport. Good luck and have fun!

Why can't we get a government sponsered tick eradication program?

I plan to do the same thing. I'm going to hide a bunch of unlisted hides on the trail and send them out. Thanks, I didn't realize that you had done that last year. I was busy at another booth last year.
