    Default Off to Eustis!

Like a lot of cachers, my family fell in love with Eustis at the first "Useless" event a few years back and we are headed up for a week in the pines tomorrow, along with SuitedPair. We are also going to the next event so I want to reserve the Eustis area caches for then. Any suggestions around Rangeley or other areas?
    Geocaching Parrotheads

Why can't we get a government sponsered tick eradication program?

Plenty around Rt 16. Also, the B-17 cache, GCYT9N

is well worth doing. Then, heading towards Errol, NH, are a few good ones. And of course there is GC1XX37

Get some of your Maps for the Delorme out of the way. Head over to the POW camp - there is a road which cuts from Eustis area across.

The B-17 and there is a nice Hike up the Mountain over there in Rangeley to a nice fire tower at the top (there are picnic tables up there too). Not a technical climb but not just a flat trail either. I think it is Rangeley Celebration - an ammo can too! I loved it and was challeneged a bit but did it.

Enjoy you week - and I hope we see you for this years event.

I'd go out Route 16 and do some caches around Errol and the 13 Mile Wilderness. Beautiful drive.

This is the view from Bemis which I think was archived because it was just off the AT on from RT 16.
