    I only had 5 and the logs have been deleted. Not a great way to start the day!

    Your caches should be safe, they are not taking caches, just making bogus logs.

    Actually no, we don't need to do the same. We pay groundspeak, it's their job. There is no point to manually delete 3500 logs when they can delete it with one SQL query.

    The idea is that they SHOULD be able to manually delete those bogus logs. However, I'm not risking someone else's computer system and I deleted the logs on the caches that I own.

    I'm just worried about some of the caches where the owner is no longer active, but the cache still is. Someone can easily trip over that log and mess up their compute system.

    This could also be the reason why GC.com is shutting down at 2:00 PM our time for a site update. Just speculation on my part.

    My view in life is that there is a positive in every negative. Yep, the bot got some of my caches and a whole lot of others in Maine. On the other hand.....I think it has the Delorme Challenge completed.
    Everyone has the right to be an idiot at times. Just don't abuse the privilege.
