    Default Maine Geocaching Memories

I thought it would be neat to create a scrapbook for all the cachers in Maine and pass it around for everybody to add to and enjoy. So here it is, Maine Geocaching Memories. It's also a travel bug so anybody that contributes to the book can also log the tb.

The scrapbook will start out this weekend at the "Slipping into Summer" event...be sure to bring pictures and other mementos to add to your page!

I was trying to think up some ideas for people to do in the book, here are a few:
    * Make a team page. Feel free to bring pictures to add!
    * Write about something funny that happened while caching.
    * Describe "a day in the life of a cacher."
    * Create your own top 10 list for geocachers.
    * Tell about the neat places in Maine that you have seen as a result of caching.

I've got some great stories to share and look forward to reading some others. So girls, can I tell them about the Etna Bog trip, or the "forky" intersection in Deer Isle? LOL

    Default fun

Cameo - fun idea! We can do the Etna Bog page together - that would be fun - a story I love to share for sure.

Are these standard scrapbook size pages? In other words, use a 12" x 12" piece of paper as the foundation for the page we want to contribute?

Beachie, actually it is an 8 x 8 journal type book with lines, no plastic pages...but you have a great thought in there. We could also have a standard 12x12 scrapbook that people could even work on their pages at home and then bring them to the event to put in the book. With the journal, I thought we could have everyone sign it and tell a little something at every event, starting this weekend. I know some cachers are really creative, so I'll bring a little bag of scrapbooking stuff with the journal if they want to embellish a little.

No need to do anything different than what you already had planned - I couldn't tell in the picture and just wanted to make sure. I look forward to telling a couple of stories - hehehe - already have a couple in mind!
