    Default Photo editing software

I use PhotoShop for editing my software and I am pretty good with it. But I had a friend ask me the other day what I would recommend for a good very easy photo editing software they could use that was free for getting rid of red eye. I could not answer because I have no clue.

My question here is, what is a free east photo editing software that they could use for getting rid of red eye in a photo?

Google Picasa. In my opinion it is the best free photo editor out there. It is super easy too.

    Default I have to agree.

I second the vote for picassa. So easy to use and the price is right. With this new Google powered phone it makes it even better.

Google Picassa works amazingly great on red eyes removal, however it is not a photo editing software.

You can use http://www.gimp.org/ and here is how to remove red eyes:

Irfanview is another free photo editing software that is easy to use as well.

It really depends on what you are looking to do. If you want the power of photo shop then I agree with Cano that gimp is a good choice. If you want a simple program that will give you basic touch up, cropping, red eye removal, light and color tuning and an assortment of effects like B&W, sephia and tinting then Picasa handles that.

Well this person does not want to upload the photo online to edit it. I believe with Google Picasa you have to upload it.
