    Default TB Rescue Site

Does anyone else visit this TB Rescue site?

    http://www.tb-rescue.com

There are two newly listed TB's that the owners are looking for that are in caches in Maine.

One is an EMSDanel cache - McLellan Park (GC13819)

and the other is Guns~N~Hoses ' cache MSP Trooper TJ Merry (GC2FN5D)

Both of them look like the TB's are still there, just inactive caches for the last couple of months. Nobody has been there and the owners don't know that winter isn't a great time to move snowbound TB's in Maine.

Anyone interested in rescuing these TB's?

Right now those are a little too far for me to go retrieve.

I was at GC2FN5D, within the last 4 weeks, I believe and did not see a TB. If I see one, I usually move it. I have notified the owners of the coin.

I note that EMSDaniel's cache has not been visited since the day the TB was placed. I don't think I'd panic in a situation like this...

This is Maine, and it's January after all. (Oh yeah - the TB owner is from Georgia. Clueless, right Haffy?? LOL!)

Yes, I agree - the TB's are probably all safe and sound at EMSDanel cache. It's just that nobody's been there is all. The owner must've read the log, but put in a rescue request anyway. People who have year round access to all caches don't think about our winters apparently.

Bummer about the TJ Merry cache - your note to the owner is probably what prompted the rescue request Dufzor........maybe, just maybe it got dropped on the ground after the last cacher and will be found come Spring? We can hope......

I was going to visit the Tpr cache for personal reasons this weekend but because of the storm I didn't. Maybe later - and I will try to look in the log book.

But I just sent in the note last night when I read about the rescue request.

It looks like there is currently a TB looking to be rescued up north. http://www.tb-rescue.com/resc_show.php5?tbcode=TB1KYP3
The trackable http://www.geocaching.com/track/deta...racker=TB1KYP3 is located in a cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache...spx?wp=GC2KD16 that has two finds. The FTF is actually the cache owner and is the cacher that placed the TB in question into the cache. It also looks like the true FTF, who has only two finds, has also placed a TB in the cache. In all, it looks like two TBs are stranded in this remote cache.

Looks like nothing has happened to these trackables yet.

We've also got some other trackables looking to get rescued.
