Charter Members caches

I did a search of Maine caches that are for Charter Members only. I only found one. Why are there not more. I can only assume that people want everyone to find there cache or there are not very many Charter Members.

I am curious as to what others think about placing cachjes for Charter Members only?

Well, I have never bothered, like to keep mine available to everyone, but after the recent plunderings of caches, I have had it on my mind lately.

Are there any currrently non-paying cachers who would be willing to pay the $3 a month if there were more MOCs?

Personally, I would like to keep my caches available to everyone. It encourages new potential cachers and makes all of those great places available to them. We've had an unfortunate incident with intentional and deliberate destruction of caches here in Maine that I hope is not going to be the trend. If it becomes more, then I too would consider limiting access to paying members only.
