Interesting! I go to the Women's Fitness Center in Brunswick and do both Body Pump and spinning. I know both have helped me a lot with geocaching especially the long uphill climbs. Recent bout of hip bursitis (hmmmm.... caused by above three activies? ) is slowing down the caching and gym. Had on my geocache hat one day at spinning and found two other geocachers at the gym come up to chat.

That's the dance I have to do, after changing the batteries in my Vista GPS'r.

Spinning is a program designed to build up your hiking geocache muscles . No actually it is an indoor bicycling program to build up endurance and also do a cardio workout. Common questions are here:

It can get pretty intense and is a great workout.

I get plenty of exercise for geocaching, i have a very intense routine myself, i do 12oz curls for hours at a time, and sometimes i even do 16oz!

heh, a friend of mine (who is quite old) told me that he has a new exercize routine that he started. every day for 2 minutes he holds up a 50# potato sack, then after 2 weeks he holds them up for 5 minutes, he's already up to 10 minutes a day... next week he says he might actually put a potato in one of them!!

I'm glad to see we can take what appears to be a shameless ad, and turn the thread into something completely off the subject. All without any bad sentiments. Way to go. Nice picture, where is this geocache? Must be rated a 4 to get the bike up there.
