ok, but math was never my forte, could someone figure it all out and let me know how much it's gonna cost me to have Hiram donate 3 cents to me.

P.S. Please add any fees you may have for doing the math, thanks!

These rates these days would have been the same with an American Nickle!

Not sure what they do in your neck of the woods, but around here, Canadian coins are accepted at par. I always stock up when I go to Canada! LOL!

(You can even find a lot of vending machines that will take Canadian Quarters. Never tried a Loonie in a $1 machine, though...)

Weird... penny for penny here.... but everything else like $1 loonie or what not is percentage... $.50 is percentage... $.10 is percentage, like $.08

Up there you'd probably get overwhelmed with Canadian. Here it just gets passed on again - never sees the bank, where it would make a difference.

    Works for me!

Yeah - and if you quote someone else, it takes up more space and adds pages! LOL!

Oh does it? Wow... I should start topics with "repost" more often!

Ya, we have to many CHEAP people up here where if a cashier gives them a canadian dime or whatnot they will flip out... literally, seen it happen.

All the candy machines, coke machines, dispensors, car washers all have tags on them that say: No canadian money. Were talking quarters on the dollar and people are making signs and what not...

If I go down there and wash my car or whatnot, there won't be signs like that? Odd... must be a county thing.

    How's this for space?

PS: just adding one more line

    Whos gonna quote me? LOL

Well, I've tried putting Canadian coins in the self-service checkouts at WalMart and Shaws, but they'll only accept pennies.

Oh - and if you go to someplace "away", and want to get a local newspaper - those newspaper vending machines ALWAYS accept Canadian quarters!
