Geocaching.com has improved a lot in the last few months, and one great improvement is the ability to include attributes in your cache listing.
RULOST2? and I went to New Hampshire today (tax-free Christmas shopping), and looked at a couple of caches on the way. We decided that the snow would probably hide the cache so much so as to not be worth the effort.
But there is hope! If you edit your cache listing in geocaching.com, you can easily include lots of information that would have been difficult when you first posted your cache listing. Especially helpful is a note that the cache is winter friendly.
Go back and edit those cache listings. Add any information that may be helpful to the cacher. We, at least, will thank you for it.
