This was a great idea, it has been a while since I have seen it.

We should probably get a scrap book put together and have one of the board members make arrangements to have it at every Geocaching Maine event.

I'll be collecting pictures and stuff from the Geocaching 101 Event in Orono tomorrow. I love this idea.

The scrapbook which was stated by Cameo aka Cache Maine has been taken to events. Some of the folks who have posted have just not been to events where this item actually has been taken.

I did not go back to the original post to see if this was being done by the poster on behalf of this site or the poster. Perhaps someone should PM or EM CM and ask about what she started.

Speaking of this . . . and in the fine tradition of derailing threads . . . I ran into a new cacher -- Kingfisher-- who had attended this event and was out in the Lincoln area doing some caching . . . said he learned quite a bit at the event. I mentioned this site . . . who knows . . . perhaps we'll see him here at some point.

Wow Kingfisher, didn't really meet him but I think I do remember him. He was one of the lucky ones that came early and I got to spend some time with.

Seemed like a nice guy . . . out caching with his daughter . . . I think he said he was given the GPSr earlier in the year as a gift and finally decided to do some geocaching. Said the time spent in Orono was good . . . thought you and anyone else there might like to know folks appreciated the time you volunteered.
