I always liked Paris sleds . . . I think they might have even been made in Paris, Maine . . . but I could be wrong . . . for some reason they just seemed to slide better than some of the other sleds.

[QUOTE= I think they might have even been made in Paris, Maine . . . but I could be wrong . . . [/QUOTE] The Gladden-Paris Company...South Paris, Maine...if i remember correctly.
Date for the event: Saturday, January 22nd. We will be there from Friday to Sunday.
Last year I used one of our kids old plastic sleds, and it was fine. At first I thought it would be too small, but TAT's right; too big a sled makes you bring too much stuff! I agree with Hollora, too. Wrap it all in a tarp or plastic in the sled so stuff doesn't fall out. If I remember correctly, there was one runaway sled last year that took off into the woods a few times on the way back!
Don't forget that the Cabin Fever event is this Saturday. Some people will be showing up on Friday and staying on through to Sunday. It may be cold, but we know how to keep cozy in the cabin. Please feel free to drop in and say "Hi" dig into the grub, play a board game, and just enjoy good company. We'll hike to a couple of caches and it looks like snowshoes will be necessary.
Wont be cold enough for that.
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.
