    Default Pentathlon Relay Race?

Is anyone interested in participating in a Pentathlon Relay Race?

I was thinking of setting one up for the Winter Campout on 7 March 09. There would be 5 legs:

    · Ski
    · Skate
    · Snowshoe
    · Snowmobile
    · Sled

Ideally, there would be teams of 5, but some could do more than one leg.
The farmer gave permission to place the cache in the field, but the bull charges.

That means everyone would have to have one of these items on there team? I am thinking about coming this year but not sure if I will bring the snowmobile at this time.

There should be plenty of snowshoes and sleds. Skates and skis may be more limited, but I bet we have enough. And: since we all have gps, we don't have to race all at the same time. Race when you want, and we can compare tracks at the end. I bet the locals will win with the old reliable snowmobiles!

I used to be a pretty good distance skater, but that was too long ago...

I grew up in Massachusetts where - most of the time - the ponds were clear of snow and you could do a lot of skating. Not like Maine - where the ice is always covered with snow.

    Sheesh!

    Default Hmmmmmmmmm

Sounds interesting. With this rain, I might be thinking of pulling out the skates after a freeze.
