I like the idea of opencaching you can do with the data what ever you want, you will also get features you pay for on gc.com for free and much more. But still it's not open enough for me. Anyway, there is only one cache listed in Maine on OC

Well, it's a cross listing cache. But we still don't know whether this is the project Garmin is working on.

There're only three in New Jersey. How long has that site been up?

It has been around for 4 or 5 years, but mostly overseas.

So if I've already found a cache through groundspeak, I should be able to go to this new site and log the find, correct?

Sounds like you could, it's open caching, right? cache how you want. Log it even if you didn't find it.
