Description: This ferry travels between Eastport, Maine and Deer Island, New Brunswick, CA. It costs $14 for the car, driver and 1 passenger, and takes about 1/2 hour. A larger, free ferry connects the other end of the island to the mainland. There is a great camping area here.

Description: The elm trees in Truro, Nova Scotia are dying. As each one is lost, a local carver creates a statue. This is a Mountie in front of the RCMP office in Truro. Not sure how many statues there are, but we saw a lot.
