Could it be the Steel Bridge? I didn't think you really wanted me to say.
Woot! Ah yes, Bingo! That's it! Steel Bridge Cache GCJFV0 by KatieBTrekkers. And a place not visited often but beautiful. My son even took his wife back.
So now, you are up to post a photo of a cache location. If you are unsure how to do it - just ask. You need a photo of a cache location which we can all guess where it is.
I just love taking photos in cache locations - so many beautiful places I would have never gone.
I have to do that? I think mine would be too easy.
Good! That way those of us who don't get out as much can play! :D
Ahh yes, steel bridge cache. Been there. The last time one of the plates had fallen into the water. I am not sure what is going on there now.
OK, here it goes. If you don't know the area it is easy to take the wrong road. Great place for fishing.

That didn't work. How about this.
One more try.
I could see it! Veazie Salmon Club. GC1BEQW.
Oh thank God! This was driving me crazy.
I grew up in Veazie and we used to ride our bike there all the time! I'll have to go back now and grab the cache!
This might be of interest to those who are having trouble posting photos on the site. For myself I use Photobucket and just use the URL that they provide and paste it into my message.

Does someone else want to post a photo? I got all excited because I finally knew one but don't have a photo to post.
I'll post a picture if no one minds. I have a couple from Maine.
go for it!!
http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/e...rah/Stream.jpgThis is probably my favorite picture that I've taken. I don't have a camera right now, so all my pics were taken with my phone (like 1.3 mp maybe). I was very glad this one came out well. Also, I was probably standing about 20-30 ft from the cache.
Now a cache in Maine near a stream, that really narrows it down now doesn't it?:eek: How about a subtle hint as to maybe what part of the state or something like that. :D
Is it one of VicBiker's caches?
Death Wish 1?
OK - I'll give it a shot without a hit.......Connor Grist Mill Geocache by CoolClay (GCTY7J)? I noticed that is the photo on your profile page. Very cool photo - thanks for sharing.
ok hint...I found this one on my way back home in Waterville from my job in Augusta,
i remember this cache to be the first time that we met another geocacher on the trail. i was at ground zero and yelled to my wife "i got it" and then i hear a voice i did not know yell back "what ya find?" oh shoot i got caught. then we introduced ourselves to each other and they were the team Macfriends. it was a nice little meet and greet in the woods. the cache is by fric and fran "down in the valley"
Yup, it's Down in the Valley. :D
