Here is a tutorial on how to post images on vBulliten.

1. First you will need the have your image uploaded to the web. You can do this through programs like imageshack.com and others like it.

2. Once you have the photo uploaded and on the web like you want it then you need to post it in the meesage like we are about to explain.

3. Open the picture on the web that you want to put in your vBulletin message.

4. With the picture is on the screen put you mouse over the picture and right click the picture. You will see a box that comes up like this:



5. Where it says ADDRESS URL, you will see the url to that image. Put you mouse to the left of the HTTP and left click it and holding the mouse button down drag it accross the whole url unitl it is highlighted. You can let go of the left click once the whole address is highlighted.



6. The whole url should still be highlighter. Now put your mouse over the highligted area and click on the right mouse button this time. You should see a box that comes up that looks like this:



7. Click copy.

8. Now go to the Vbulletin message program and go to the message where you want the image to apear. Note: The IMG code will have to be turned on in the forums for this to work. If it is not turned on then you can not post images in this forums area. You can tell if it is turn on by looking at the bottom left of the screen in the message area for the following:




9. Now your message should look something like this:



10. You will see the picture icon in the message menu bar. I have circled it in red as you can see:



11. Now click on the picture icon that was discussed above and you should see a box that comes up like this:



12. Clear all text out of that box. Now put you mouse over the entry box and clcik the right mouse button. You should see a box that pops up like this:



13. Click Paste.

14. It should look like this once you have pasted:



15 Click OK. You should now see the image in your mesage or see the following text. [IMG]http://www.state.me.us/ifw/images/04snowcover.jpg[/IMG].

16 Continue on with your message and click save and your done.
