I had the 60 cs and now the csx. I have a Garmin mounting base stuck to the deck on my Old Town Dirigo. I take the back plate out of my car and it snaps right into the base on the kayak. I have gotten it wet on more than one occasion with no ill effects (So far). It works super in the woods and I guess it finds me all the caches I want. They have come down so much since the Colorados came out. A good choice for geocaching in my opinion.
