While the nights won't be as cold as the night on the bog last March, a nalgene with hot water at the bottom of the sleeping bag (and other great tips from that link) may be appreciated during this trip.

I really don't expect the drinking to be excessive. Most of the geocachers I've met so far enjoy sharing homebrews and a few drinks, but getting drunk isn't the objective.

Hiram and I are really excited about this even too! We might need to consider getting a new GPS by then too...
