There is also Sebago Brew Co. in the Old Port,great stout and a great Hefeweizen

My niece works at the Sebago Brewing Co. (the one on Maine Mall Road)
You can't miss her, Shes the most beautiful waitress/bartender there.


And coicidently Shipyard is one of my favorite microbrews from Maine. I haven't tried alot of them however. My niece always buys me a case for Christmas.

I'm glad to see there are other microbrew conissoirs on this site.
Has anyone here been to the annual microbrew fest in Maine in November?
I'm going to try and make it to it this year. Maybe we should get a group together.

I have gone to almost all of the Brew Festivals it's a great time (I think ) as a side note The Great Lost Bear usually has 50+ brews on tap

I just started an extra dark stout tonight
but I think I got a lame pack of yeast..
I haven't even gotten a bubble out of it...
If I see no action by tomorrow I'll try to re-pitch it...
But it smells good so far.

Well,,looks like we missed all the fine weather in Maine while we are here in Barbados. Coming home next Wed. Hope the weather clears a little by then. Speaking of Beer,,,Had a tour of the "Banks Beer" brewery here the other day. What a way to start the day. The tour included all the ice cold Beer you wanted after the tour, in an open air bar. About 85 degrees out with a nice cool trade wind blowing. Gail started out with a Guinness stout(which is brewed here at the Banks Brewery) and I had a couple cold Banks beer. All at 10:30 am. No shortage of Banks beer and Rum Punch here!!! Probably going to have to sign in to a substance abuse clinic when I get home Hey to everyone from Barbados,,,"Dave and Gail"

Wow - what a great time to be missing the weather we are having.....and drinking Guinness stout - one of my favorites I am jealous! Enjoy and see you on the trails when you get home.
